繼牙膏炸彈後 美國土安全部警告：小心鞋子炸彈

繼牙膏炸彈後，美國國土安全部(Department of Homeland Security )對飛美國航班發布警告，恐怖分子可能將炸彈藏在鞋子裡面，注意飛往美國的班機安檢。
根據美國國家廣播公司（NBC）報導，各家航空公司將加強注意乘客的鞋子，特別是外國飛往美國的班機，因為根據可靠的情報顯示，恐怖分子可能打算使用鞋子炸彈攻擊客機。
國土安全部這項通報建議機場安檢人員使用手持炸彈偵測器，偵測乘客腳上的鞋子與隨身行李中的鞋子。
2001年時，1名英國男子試圖利用鞋內炸彈炸掉1架美國航空公司客機，所幸遭到查獲。
本(2)月初，美國政府警告各地機場，以及有航班飛往俄羅斯的航空公司，提高警覺並「注意牙膏軟管」，因為軟管內可能藏有製造炸彈的材料。
